December 29, 2013 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Adam)

Highway 99 North – Marble Canyon

We (Adam and company) climbed on Oregon Jack today. The climb was deteriorating in the warm weather we’ve been having. There were large open holes near the base on the left hand side and further up on the climb at about 20m. We ended up bailing off the route at an alcove because of the bad ice.

We also went to Marble Canyon and climbed on the first pitch of Icy BC. Once again there were some large holes in the climb that are vary obvious in the pictures below.  Have an ice day!
