January 25, 2014 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Eric)

Highway 99 North – Marble Canyon

Today (January 25) myself (Eric B) and Riley M climbed at Marble Canyon and surprisingly had the place to ourselves.

We found conditions very similar to what we experienced with Jeremy last weekend. Deeping Wall is fat but hooked out, with some detachment at the very top of the left most line.
No Deductible is identical to last week, but a bit wet.
Icy BC actually seems to have thickened marginally since last week, and many of the holes on the pillar on P1 have healed some. Plenty of running  water behind it though. We didn’t make it up to the upper pitches.
