December 18, 2014 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Jean-Marc)

Highway 99 South – Duffey Lake Road

Paraphrasing Lyle, the Pineapple Express rolled through the southern half of the Province over the last bit. It’s played havoc with the ice, but all is not lost. There is ice to be had out there, as Jean-Marc reports below. Try the colder spots, such as the upper levels of the Duffey, Marble Canyon, and the Bridge River Canyon. Consider avy conditions, where threatened, of course.

Nic Vissers and I (Jean-Marc Savoie) climbed Rambles Right today. Conditions were good! Little wet but I would say average day for West Coast.
