March 1, 2014 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Tara and Morgan)

Highway 99 South – Duffey Lake Road

Me (Tara), and 3 others trampled up to Rambles Left and Centre on February 27th. The conditions were amazing!  The ice (although a little wet) was deep, consistent and great quality. Fun was had by all. The colours ranged from transparent blues to whites, with no rotten patches.

March 2 Edit: Add some pics (below) from the February 22/23 weekend. Thanks Morgan!

LOST GEAR: Two matching Ice Axes were dropped on the main access trail to The Rambles, either on the trail up to Rambles Centre or perhaps lower down (maybe around the boulder/choss field). They are older and well used ice axes, grey/blue (no idea what brand). They have leashes on them with yellow buckles.  A REWARD will be given to whoever returns them! Email me at westcoasticereports@gmail.com if you find them and I will connect you with the owner/reward.
