December 22, 2013 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Jean-Marc)

Highway 99 South – Whistler

On Saturday (Dec 21), Richard Mason and I (Jean-Marc Savoie) climbed Entropy (WI3, 3 pitches, x2 ropes to rap) North of Whistler; second time this season for me. Much of the ice had melted out, although it was solid due to good temps (-5°C). Hard to get screws in spots, but the climbing was superb. About 5 inches of snow on it giving it an alpine feel. Highly recommend this route! As long as it doesn’t get any warmer lol.
