February 22, 2013 Ice Climbing Report (Thanks Bruce)

Highway 99 South – Squamish

Myself (Bruce Kay) and Paul McSorley went up to the Fluffy Kitten Wall and had a go at some new terrain, but got the boot by some unprotected froth four pitches up.  Climbing up to there was actually pretty good. I would say that Forever Young and possibly some other things may be good to go if temperatures remain as cool as they are forecast.  The approach was firm cramponing up through the timber.  We drove easy 4WD to near the second bridge then used a sled from there.
