December 15, 2011 (Thanks Peter)

Highway 99 North – Marble Canyon

Today and yesterday (Dec 13-14) were spent climbing with Kevin.

Oregon Jack is in challenging shape, but plenty of good ice for screws. The picture tells the story.

Climbed the first 2 pitches of Icy BC on Tuesday in challenging, but fun shape. Three other parties at the crag made for a busy afternoon.
Three separate lines on Deeping Wall, and some ice on Comfortably Numb made for some fun TR’ing today, Wednesday, after having climbed Oregon Jack in the morning.

  1. stayed in Cache Creek for 59$ for a room with a kitchenette. Bring your own camping bowls, pots, frying pans but a good deal.

  2. 2 beds could have slept 4 cramped.
