High 99 South – Howe Sound

Looks like there’s ice formed up high in the Howe Sound peaks – just saw this pic from Deeks Basin

  1. Does any one know where this is exactly? These ice falls look pretty good!

  2. this ice is on a shoulder feature of Mtn Brunswick. Best approached via the Brunswick trail from Lions Bay, once you meet the HSCT head north to Hat Pass and then descend some before the ice comes into view. After topping out you could then descend snow sloped back to the HSCT and back out to lions bay. Bet you about 3hr approach. 2hr descent.
