December 30, 2010 (Thanks Justin and Bruce)

Highway 99 South – Squamish/Pemberton
Travelled from Squamish to Cayoosh Summit, showing little to get excited about despite arctic air.

Squamish: Total dud.
Entropy: Doubtful.
Suicide Bluffs: Bits and pieces. Best of the bunch.
Blue Moon on Rye: Trying hard, but miles to go.
Eagle and Mole: Bunk.
Medicine Man: Maybe but probably not.
On the bright side, skiing is excellent, if still a bit lean.  If I was a gambler I’d put my money on The Plum and White Blotter. Or the Rockies.
Happy New Year – bk

Highway 99 South – Duffey Lake Road
Road tripped up to Lillooet yesterday. No ice on Small Creep.
Synchronicity looked fat except for the first pitch.
The Synchrotron is hardly there.
Loose Lady had ice on it, didn’t see the upper pitch.
Carl’s Berg looked good.
Closet Secrets looked climbable.
Shreddie was non-existent.

Spent the day in The RamblesRambles Left and Upper Tier climbs were all in with good ice and little running water, as were the Rambles Center climbs, which seem to have received the most traffic.  Not much snow and the ice is forming well for good climbing.  Get on it!!
