December 17, 2010 (Thanks Bob)

Highway 99 South – Duffey Lake Road
Elaine Forsman and I (Bob Taylor) went climbing in the Rambles yesterday (Dec. 16th). Temps were mild, but the climbing was very good. There was surprisingly very little snow, compared to the amount I accounted in the Tolkien Mountain group (Birkenhead Park) last weekend. All the routes we climbed were easily protected.
Upper pitch of P-S (Right Cirque) was thin.
The Sketch had no ice.
The Curtain was not touching, and the White Room was very thin to non-existent.
I think the first route we were on (I don’t climb the Rambles often) was Rambles Centre, it was really fat and solid.
