January 22, 2010 (Thanks Cam and Bruce)

Highway 99 South – North Joffre and Husume Buttess
Bruce had a good suggestion:
“Seeing as everything else is looking grim…. someone please go check out North Joffre Creek, Rapsody in Floyd and Free Tibet.  High freezing levels during the last storm may have worked some magic. Snow stability is currently good as well. I’m out of town, otherwise I’d check. Also: any beta on Husume Buttress out there?”

Highway 99 North – Marble Canyon
Bad news on the ice front…
Cam climbed Deeping Wall today. Very wet and falling apart quickly.
First pitch of Icy BC was practically a river.
Crossed lake (frozen) in the AM, but on PM re-cross, loud cracking and settling of ice made us walk around.
